TOMORROW: Puerto Rico should become the 51st state + President’s Day Party! Order Merch!

TOMORROW’S DEBATE

Hey everyone, hope you all had a great Valentine’s Day. We have two big events tomorrow, with a Bad Bunny-inspired debate on Puerto Rican statehood. followed by our annual President’s Day Party. We’ll eat some snacks and play some games, so make sure to stick around after the debate! Also, make sure to order some merch using the form below if you haven’t already.

Please join us tomorrow, February 16 at 7 PM in Scott Hall 201 as we discuss:

RESOLVED: Puerto Rico should become the 51st state.

Keep an eye out for our debate primer, which will be posted this Sunday on the PU Blog. This resource, created by our brilliant Blog Editor, can be used to get a better understanding of the topic at hand.

MERCH

The Political Union is selling merch this quarter! Fill out this Google Form if you would like to order one. If you are interested in getting a sweatshirt, but cost would be a prohibiting factor, read the details on the form about potential financial assistance.

DOOR REMINDER

Scott Hall's doors close and lock at 7 PM sharp, so be sure to arrive a few minutes early. If you arrive after 7pm, we always make sure to prop open a door: you can enter through the Sheridan Rd. side or the 1838 Chicago Ave. side.
