Hello Hello!

We have terrible (or great, depending on your perspective) news! ITS YASMEEN AND PARKER’S LAST WEEK AS PRESIDENT! ~duh duh duhhhhnnnn~ If you didn’t know, these emails have authored by the Presidents and we have so enjoyed being able to communicate you through these emails. We have had an amazing time being Presidents and meeting so many of you. With that said, we are so excited to announce our new Presidents: Callie Stolar and Peter Ryan!

Alas, we have one final debate this Monday!

Those are some sample resolution for Monday’s event. Our annual State of the Union is a fun, team-style, 1 v. 1 debate, where the outgoing Presidents pose silly, whimsical questions and teams face off in debate to win points that are freely awarded (or taken away) by the Presidents. This is OUR MOST FUN EVENT OF THE YEAR (seriously, its everyone’s favorite). Can’t wait to see you all there!

MERCH

As promised, Political Union is doing a merch order! Our Exec has been working tirelessly to create a fun design, and we posed a little teaser of it last week, but behold! The final design!

Please order your sweatshirt through the following Google Form Link. You will be Venmoing Parker Stava (Out-Going Co-President) the amount, and he will place the order once we have hit a critical mass of orde

rs to ensure the price is low enough. You will pick your sweatshirt up in the spring quarter. As of right now, we will be charging $25 per sweatshirt. As more and more people order, the price per sweatshirt may drop. If the price per sweatshirt ends up lower than the original $25 amount, Parker will Venmo everyone their difference. If you have any questions, please email Parker at [email protected].

If you would like a sweatshirt, but are financially concerned, please note that at the bottom of the order form (linked above). We do not want the cost to pose as a barrier to any of our members who value Political Union as much as we do and want to rep the brand on campus.

DOOR REMINDER

Scott Hall's doors close and lock at 7 PM sharp, so be sure to arrive a few minutes early. If you arrive after 7pm, we always make sure to prop open a door: you can enter through the Sheridan Rd. side or the 1838 Chicago Ave. side.
