TODAYS’S DEBATE
Good Morning Political Union!
We hope you had a lovely weekend and are having a lovely Monday morning. Yesterday, Political Union Exec planned the rest of the quarter and boy oh boy do we have some amazing events planned for you all - make sure to check them out below! However, of course, with today being Monday and all (crazy) — we have a debate!
Please join us today, Monday, January 29 at 7 PM in Scott Hall 201 as we discuss:
RESOLVED: Supreme Court Justices should be subject to term limits .
Notably: Political Union is suggesting a term limit of 18 years for this debate. We encourage everyone to read our debate primer, written by Blog Editor Philip Blumberg and posted on the PU Blog, to get a better understanding of the topic at hand.
POLITICS AND AI WEBINAR
Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 30 from 4-6pm in Kresge 2415 Political Union will be hosting a watch party for a panel hosted by Northwestern’s Cognitive Science Department. We are very excited to host this watch party for you all and look forward to the topic! Below is a description from the Cognitive Science Department on the event’s topic, and snacks will be provided.

[CRESCENDO] This is my fight song. Take back my life song. Prove I’m alright song. My power’s turned on. Starting right now I’ll be strong. I’ll play my fight song. And I don’t really care, if nobody else believes. ‘Cause I’ve still got a lot of fight left in me.
Keeping in theme with Thursday email (see Fight Song by Rachel Platten above; Northwestern Fight Song in last email),
